That is, it has little Air Pockets in it: beCause it is Volcanic Rock. Such a large Rock would normally Weigh about 300 to 400 Pounds, depending on whether or not it was Granite, Limestone, Marble, Basalt, Sandstone, or whatever; but, this one Weighs about 100 Pounds, which could also House ANTS, if they could Discover it: beCause of those Holes.
... as some People might Imagine; but, it is the Name of a National Park in Idaho, which is Unique: beCause it is like a Barren Desert for the most part: beCause the Topsoil has too much Iron in it, which Prevents most Plants from Growing; and even the ones that do Grow are very Small, in spite of being hundreds of Years Old! This Photo was taken at the Edge of the Park, before we got into it.
Imagine being a Pioneer, and you just now Arrived at this Point, where you Looked across the Landscape, and all that you could See is nothing but Barrenness — would you be Encouraged to Travel on? And, if so, how much Water would you Attempt to Pack along, considering its WEIGHT and your Weak and Discouraged Heart, having nothing more than a Mule, or perhaps a Riding Horse and a Pack Mule? Likewise, when the American Pioneers were headed to California, they Faced similar Discouragements: beCause of the Deserts of Arizona and Nevada; but, behold, when they finally got to California, they Discovered that it was also just another Desert for the most part, which Required Irrigation Systems, for which those Pioneers Built Hoover Dam.
If you Sincerely Believe that Men did Land on the Moon, perhaps you might also Believe that the above Photo contains a Shadow of an Astronaut on the Moon; but, I do not Believe it: beCause I am not so easily Deceived by Phony Photographs, in spite of it being a Real Photograph! However, if you Study my Free Booklet, you will have to Reconsider what you have Seen on TV: beCause I Present over a hundred Pieces of Evidence that they did NOT Land on the Moon, which they are still not Able to do: beCause of Radiation, Heat, Cold, and the Inability to Rocket themselves Away from the Moon without a Rocket Launcher. Remember that the Moon has one sixth of the Gravity of the Earth. Therefore, it is no Small Matter to Rocket anything Away from the Moon. However, NASA Claimed to have done it with Fuel that might have Fitted within a 10-gallon Propane Tank, even though the Saturn V Rocket that Propelled them Away from the Earth was more than 300 feet Tall, being mostly Filled with TONS of Rocket Fuel! Indeed, you can easily Understand the Major Problem with going to the Moon — HOW do you get yourself BACK to the Earth without a Rocket Launcher on the Moon, which is perhaps one Tenth the Size of the one that is on the Earth?
... beCause no one has Noticed that any of them have Grown even the slightest bit during the past 100 Years! Therefore, it is Important to Remember not to Disturb any Plants within the Park.
This Desert Cools Off each Night, even during the Summertime, and the Coolness settles into the Hole; and therefore, the Ice that got Formed during the Winter just stays there. Moreover, it might Rain as little as 0 inches per Year, or as much as 8 inches; but, the Ice in the Bottom of the Hole is hundreds of Years Old, and has never Thawed Out, as far as anyone Knows.
This Photo shows a Closer View of the Ice in the Bottom of the Hole. You have probably also Heard about ICE CAVES, which have Ice in them the Year around, in spite of having no Artificial Cooling System, such as a Freezer has. Well, if the Earth could Store such Ice, while even being Exposed to the Summer Weather, just Think of how easy it would be for us to Store TONS of Ice in Profitable $wangkee Ice Houses, which are Insulated? Indeed, the Ice House should be Inside of a Walk-in Freezer, which is Inside of a Walk-in Cooler, which is Inside of a Walk-in Root Cellar, which is Inside of a Walk-in Pantry or Storage Room for Canned Produce, which is all Inside of a Large Swangkee Stone Domehome, which has 20 feet of Dirt Piled up on the Roof, which has Topsoil on Top of that, which has Swangkee Gardens for Wise People!
... beCause of the Barrenness of the Land, even though there are Places in Death Valley, Nevada, which are even more Barren, and much Hotter. I will Attempt to get some Photos of Death Valley later on. Sorry for not having any now.
